State-certified Business Administrator for the Hotel and Catering Industry

Anyone who has trained in hospitality and spent a few years working in the sector will know that certain management positions in the hotel and catering trades require indepth business training and the right qualifications. This is particularly relevant to you if you have set your career sights on a management position or self-employment.
To provide you with the required training without interrupting your working life, we have developed an online business administration programme for state-certified business administrators. The course is structured to allow you to achieve your qualification alongside your day job via a mainly home-based programme of distance learning and online conferences led by expert tutors. After successfully completing the course you will be a state-certified business administrator and ready to take up a leadership role in a large number of careers at home and abroad, just like the trainees in the full-time course.

Requirements

  • Completed formal training in a relevant profession* and at least 6 months of practical professional experience; alternatively, another professional qualification plus 2.5 years experience in the hospitality industry

Training structure

The content of the training programme is spread over 6 semesters plus one
examinations semester. It is carried out in a combination of attended classes,
telecoaching and self-learning phases.
