Double degree – part-time study during training

Well-qualified young managers with extensive practical experience are highly sought after in the international upmarket hotel trade. That is why we are offering you the opportunity to combine your training and studies in an efficient, fast-tracking course.

Parallel to your 3-year training to become a state-certified hotel management assistant, you will complete the first 4 semesters of the Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration distance learning programme at the SRH FernHochschule Riedlingen.

One year after completing your training, you will be awarded an internationally
recognised academic degree, the Bachelor of Arts (BA).

You can choose from the following specialisations

A-levels or equivalent college of higher education/university entrance

At least 6 years of English schooling

Training schedule

3-year training programme
Teaching in business administration and sector-specific subjects as well as 3
foreign languages
In-service training in first-class hotels in Dresden
8-week placement between the 1st and 2nd year
Two 5-month placements in the 3rd year, which at last one is in a non-
German-speaking country
Dissertation and state certification exams in 2nd year

Study content and schedule

1st and 2nd semester during the first 2 years of training
3rd and 4th semester during the 3rd year of training, start of specialisation
During foreign placements, study material will be sent out; exam requirements can also be met while abroad
